From 1 November 2017, a right of access will be applied in the industrial area of Bonabéri, Douala

As of November 1, 2017, it will be applied a right of access and the payment of penalties for improper parking in the industrial area of Bonabéri, Douala.

According to Christol Georges Manon (photo, left), Director General of the Development and Management Mission for Industrial Zones (Magzi), these measures are taken to ensure greater security in the area. It is also a question of “putting an end to the disorders found in the circulation of vehicles and to protect the works from the deteriorations caused by the users (…) to Bonabéri“. The regulations will gradually extend, according to Manon, to all sites of the same type (Bassa and Ombé).

Since June 30, 2015, the decision has been taken to establish a right of access for all industrial zones in the country. After two years of administrative tolerance, the Magzi intends to enforce the law. Especially since Bonabéri is one of the sites that can no longer accommodate new businesses, according to the revelations of the General Directorate of the Planning Mission.
