The ports of Douala and Limbe have just launched the renewal of approvals for the bunkering activity for the years 2018 and 2019.
According to the indications of the General Directorate of the Douala port Authority (DPA), interested companies must apply, no later than November 15, 2017. The application file to be submitted to the DPA must include a request for authorization indicating the name, field of activity, the registration number in the Commercial Register and the National Social Insurance Fund (Cnps).
Moreover, it will require a copy of the approval of the Ministry in charge of Mines and Energy, the certificate of non-bankruptcy, the certificate for submission to the Cnps, proof of registration in the commercial register, the location plan of the head office, the morality investigation of the promoter, the extract of criminal record of the manager, the extract of the bank accounts of the company, etc. Last but not least, applicants must provide the original of a two million CFAF bond with a first class bank, approved by Cobac.
