The Cameroonian public treasury has benefited from 7.4 billion FCFA from sanctions against unscrupulous managers set to debut in 2017

During the presentation of the economic program of the Cameroonian government for the year 2018, the Prime Minister, Philemon Yang (photo), told Parliament that the year 2017 was marked by the intensification, the diversification and the systematization of audits sanctions against unscrupulous managers.

In this register, affirmed the Prime Minister, the regular holding of the sessions of the Budget and Financial Discipline Council (Cdbf) of the Higher State Control (Consupe) led to the making of the decisions of debut for the benefit of the Treasury public, up to 7.42 billion FCFA. Philemon Yang kept himself from revealing the identity of the dishonest managers put in debut all the more since the actions of this body are generally without publicity.

In January 2017, the Consupe had indicated that the verification work of the road revenue security program enabled it to recover the sum of CFAF 5 billion and issue debt securities worth CFAF 45 billion. This for the year 2016.

In general, the Consupe has to control, each year, 71 public administrations, 35 diplomatic representations, 375 decentralized territorial communities and 150 public administrative establishments.
