The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, already opposed to the dismissal of the Belgian coach Hugo Broos, is singled out as the one who pulls the strings in the shadows in the new standoff Luc Koa against the Normalisation Committee of the FECAFOOT.
There is no doubt, the Honorable Luc Koa is in Morocco with the national Amateur football team. Vice-president of the recently defunct FECAFOOT office, Luc Koa was sacked on 29 December 2017 from his position of Coordinator of National Football Teams by the Cameroon Football Federation’s Normalization Committee.
In what title did he make the trip? His supporters state that he has traveled as the general coordinator of the national football teams “because the Nationalization Committee can not unilaterally make the decision to dismiss him without the prior opinion of the sports minister”
As if to corroborate this explanation and show that the CPDM MP sacked by the normalizers of the FECAFOOT enjoys support from the part of sports, Luc Koa was in the office of the Minister of Sports Pierre Ismael Bidoung Kpwatt when the latter went to say goodbye to the Amateur Lions in their hotel in Yaoundé.
For its part, the chairman of the Normalization Committee had gone to say goodbye to the Lions with in his suite Nicolas Dikoume, the new general coordinator.
The decision of the Honorable Luc Koa to put himself on a mission with the support of the Minister of Sports, did not leave indifferent members of the Committee. Those we had on the phone, are all paralyzed by the behavior they deem unworthy of CPDM MP from Lekie, Central Region.
One of them confides that, willingly or by force, Luc Koa must leave the Lions environment. In the process, he said that the Committee, could use the services of Interpol to move away from the Cameroonian delegation the now ex general coordinator of national football teams.
Note that after the World Cup Brazil 2014 catastrophic record of the indomitable Lions, Paul Biya, the head of state had signed on 26 September 2014, a decree on the organization and operation of national football selections.
In this Presidential Decree, Article 4 of Chapter II on the Organization and Management of National Teams states that the administrative, sports and technical coordination of the activities and programs of the national football selections shall be carried out by a General Coordinator, appointed by the President of FECAFOOT. The General Coordinator is assisted by two (02) deputies appointed in the same form. The remuneration of the General Coordinator and his deputies is provided by FECAFOOT. And the duties of the General Coordinator and his deputies are fixed by a particular text signed by the President of FECAFOOT.
