Sources from Bamenda are reporting a very tensed atmosphere as we write. Our sources say activities resumed this morning as usual just before several soldiers in military trucks invaded many popular places including Commercial Avenue.
According to the National Telegraph which is relaying this information, everyone in Bamenda is running pell-mell as the military has come in full force following yesterday’s incident.
Yesterday, Thursday February 8, 2018, gunshots were heard around Commercial Avenue and a soldier was reportedly killed. Our sources say today is completely hot. Hospital Roundabout blocked towards the Food Market. Soldiers have also reportedly blocked T-Junction and all shops and businesses closed around Bamenda.
National Telegraph has confirmed there’s no movement in Bamenda as we write and a dead Bamenda is the case; complete ghost as everyone has retreated indoors for fear of the unknown. With just two days to February 11; this is a very bad sign.
