The Batibo subdivision in the Momo division, North West Region, is now controlled by Ernest Nkwandze. The administrative authority was installed in his duties Wednesday, February 14 by the North West boss, Adolphe Lele Lafrique.

The North West governor visited Batibo on Wednesday, where Namata Marcel Diteng was kidnapped on February 11 by gunmen. “I went to Batibo to touch the situation. This visit allowed me to comfort the family of the kidnapped D.O “reported the governor Adolphe Lélé Lafrique.

The governor also indicates that he has had working sessions with the traditional chiefs and security officials of the Batibo subdivision.

The traditional chiefs as well as the populations must work in collaboration with the security forces by providing them reliable information especially at this moment when we are always in search of their DO,” informs the governor.

The DO of Batibo, Namata Marcel Diteng, had been abducted with his driver on the morning of February 11, 2018 by unidentified men. So far research is continuing to find them.
